Digital Scholarship@Leiden

About

Digital Scholarship@ Leiden is the blog of the Centre for Digital Scholarship at Leiden University Libraries. It covers news and opinion on:

  • Open Access,
  • use of digital data, and
  • research data management.

We present ideas, interviews and opinions from within and outside Leiden, announce and report on events, and examine innovations and developments. We aim for at least one substantive blog post per month, written by staff from the Centre for Digital Scholarship or guest authors.

We support the university’s strategy for promoting excellent research through a framework encouraging and supporting Open Science. We do this through supporting open access publication, collaborating on digital scholarship projects, enabling the use of digital data, providing copyright advice, and developing support for improved research data management. These are therefore the basic themes of our blog.

We expect most of our readers to be research or support staff, either at Leiden or beyond, who want to keep up-to-date on news and progress on these themes.

Subscribe to our newsletter, or follow us on Twitter @CDSLeiden to catch the latest post. If you need to contact us, write to cds@library.leidenuniv.nl
